Ping TR series of putters

I have been using a Ping TR ( true roll ) Anser 2 putter for the last 5 weeks. I am quite amazed at the consistent roll it appears to put on the ball. I got mine off Perci for a song.

Has anyone else tried these range of putters and thoughts?

Have the one of the original scotsdale anser putter which i like but was having a test of the tr version at drummound the other day and thought they dont come of the face as hot with the new face.

That is true. While the aim of the design is to even up the ball speeds across the face I think they achieved it by slowing down the centre strikes as opposed to speeding up the peripheral ones.. Which makes sense I guess from a continuity point of view
