Just wondering what people carry in their bags besides the usual things(clubs, balls, tees).

My bag is now set (almost) And seeing if I need anything to keep in the bag.

This is more ideas for me to see what I will buy next.

Cheers

My sunscreen which has a clip on the end is one of the best things I've seen, it clips onto the outside of my buggy so I just squeeze on without needing to find and detach it

Empty plastic bag to put any old dirty wet balls I find in social games, which I later hit and forget at the park before a comp match

Fully charged eBay bought spare battery for my Samsung galaxy s3 phone to swap over if needed

- Small first aid kit
- In addition to may main towel I have a microfiber travel towel in a tiny zip up bag (available from camping/recreational stores like Anaconda). Useful on humid days so I can keep the main towel for the clubs and the travel towel for keeping sweaty palms dry.

Personally, once, and another couple of times for playing partners.

Same with the Panadol, bandaids and safety pins. I generally don't use them, but often get asked for them.

Holy shit !! Why do you guys carry all that crap around. You do understand that you will only be away for a few hours...

3 balls, bag of tees and a range finder.

Tees, few pencils, some bandaids and nurofen. Cheap pitchmark repairers. Dutch coins for marking my ball, and balls. Hood cover for bag that never gets put on. During a game add keys, wallet, phone, sandwich, water and barley sugars. I carry so that's enough for me.

- In addition to may main towel

Yes, one towel, usually some light bath size one. But it doesn't go in the bag. It drapes over the clubs then gets wrapped around bit through them to stop some of the clanging. Cause iron covers are so ghey - and I use pings so not gonna get bag chatter. But it stops some of the noise.

So your phone won't last for 4 or 5 hours sitting in a pocket in your bag unused? I'd be looking to upgrade/replace it if that was the case.

Agree with Virge. I carry a few sleeves of balls, a few tees, spare glove and a range finder. other than a water bottle - what else do you actually need?

That's what the blokes say a month before they ask for a band aid or a safety pin on the 6th tee. (I even had the Panadol request last Sunday morning.)

It's a carry over from going out for 100+ km bike rides, and risk of being stuck with a broken chain or punctured tyres. (I should have charged by the km for use of the chain tool - Church Point to Seven Hills.)

Anyway, when you are carrying an extra 25kg around the waist, the 300g in the bag pocket isn't noticed.
