Now that I've found a forgiving driver, I'm also looking for a forgiving 3 wood.  8)

Bought this from 3oneday just over 2 months ago. No wrench. 8 and 2 gram weights installed. 2 spare 6 gram weights included.

It's had about 6 weeks of play but I haven't used it that much. No idiot marks.  Comes with great headcover.

SOLD

Pete, I've decided that I'm an ANTI-Tour equipment person. I don't want small, open faced heads that don't make any sound. I want LOUD, BIG heads that sit way CLOSED. 8)

What I'm looking for in a 3 wood:

Relatively shallow faced (or weighted in such a way to lower COG)
Forgiving heel to toe.
Sits slightly closed.

Is there such a 3 wood in the 3oneday stable? 8)

Adams Ovation 3 wood with stock graphite stiff (not sure about A flex sorry)
Adams RPM 3 wood steel shafted fairway (regular in 15* and stiff in 13*).

SQ 3 wood maybe, I think I can get those but a totally different price bracket to the Adams stuff.

Come kick my tyres  :?

Isn't that what the R7 was? Ummm, try a Cleveland Launcher, V-Steel or 904F maybe.

The R7 would have been perfect if it was a little longer heel to toe and sat a little closed.

V steel is an option.

The original Adams Tightlies sat a little closed, if I remember correctly.

Jono,

How about one of the new Cally Big Bertha fairways -I have one which I hate with a amazing passion -but it would probably suit you perfectly.

I hook the f.....g thing off the planet. I am sure you would hit it down the middle.

It also comes with its own frequent flyer mileage as you may have noticed if you looked carefully when we played the other day. :D

Jono,

Off to Canada tomorrow. It will be for sale at a very reasonable price when I return. I picked up a Bridgetsone J33 the other day so it is definitely surplus!!

JONO pm sent.

I haven't received the PM yet. PM system can take some time.

The club has been sent via COD. You should receive it by this week. If not, on Monday.

Watch out for two extra weights when you open the box. It's tucked in at the end of the box (side where the clubhead is).

They stay in the Outbox until the recipient has read the PM. Which means it would have been sent.
