All I know is that I have a receipt for $16 plus change in my wallet for a putter to post to Sydney.

If it is over 1kg then it will go by metric box dimensions and will be $16. I am not saying that you are ripping anyone off just that one club can be sent for cheaper if you can keep it all under a kilo.

Actually sent something by E-GO to my mate next door as we had a discussion over beers if the driver would simply walk next door and drop it off or not. They came and collected it and took it back to distribution and he got it the next week.

56.11 is definitely an M grind in the SM4 series.

A lot of Post Offices don't seem to know about the under 1kg rule and will charge you cubic rates. I quite often have to tell them and it drops to under $10.

Under 500g is $6.95 flat rate.

500g to 1kg is flat rate as well, distance may come in, and it is usually under $10.

Over 1kg is cubed and distance dependant, but is usually around $17, except to SA, WA etc. I am in North qld though.
