Set up I used was a Krank 4.5* Formula 5 head with a Fujikura flywire longdrive shaft in XX.
Had never hit these clubs until I was approached 2 days prior but they are that good I had to change cause they are that good.

You're a member at Sanctuary Lakes!!!!!!!

You got a mention at the recent ambrose champs on Sunday! A hearty cheer followed. Making the club proud!!!!!

I've played in the group in front of you a couple times and my god is it scary seeing a ball trickle to the front of greens on long par 4s!

CONGRATULATIONS!

Great work, 4.5 degrees that must take some clubhead speed. Now all we need is Da Bomma to bring home the open title!!

Yeah, but can you putt? :p.

Putting is so overrated Courty

Out of interest though how do you control your driver on the course, do you just contain your legnth or like the rest of us try and drive any par 4 under 380m and usually fail and suffer the consequences.

Still in awe of your monumental feat

Aussielongdriver

I use a stock driver !!!!!
Current stock driver is a Callaway Extreme 8.5 with a Tour AD BB X flex tipped 1.5 inches.
I can putt and currently play off a 1 H’cap chipping is what I struggle with !!!!!

Hey Stephen, congrats on your win. A great achievement and another big thing for Australian golf (US Masters Champ, Long Drive Champ is a good double).

Not sure if you're aware at all but we have an OZgolf Champs in VIC now, obviously if you wish to play that would be superb, but even if one of the days or nights you were free to catch up for a beer, have a single round, or just show us your skills I'm sure we'd all be grateful for the experience. No pressure though.

The details of where we'll be and when are all here... (http://www.ozgolf.net/showthread.php/34029-2014-VIC-OZgolf-Champs-Feb-7-10)

Congrats again mate!

I just realised you've effectively long driven a broomstick putter. Top work...

Is there a certain zone you have to hit in? as in how wide you can spray? I can just imagine the happy Gilmore's now.

From what I remember I think the grid is 60 yards wide, you get around 2 1/2 minutes to hit your 6 balls. If you miss the grid it doesn't count.

Was 40 before this year. I think it was 50 yards wide. The ball has to stay in at all times.

Stephen was the finial an alternate format
