the plot thickens...

i just noted my cap status is now listed as Lapsed...uhoh...

but they put in my recent Gailes card fine?

me confused...shouldn't they have from the info i gave them on the day been able to place it into the system? or is it becuase i didn't have my swipey (and STILL haven't been sent one after joining emmy lakes and 5 phone calls...)

My OS card went in.

mmm...what i am trying to figure if it's a disconnect at the Emyy Lakes end or at the clubs i'm attending.

in this case i have no idea...any thoughts you hcap experts?

the $99 is no longer good value due to the dropped cards...waste of time if i can't maintain the cap in some steady state

The common factor appears to be Emmy Lakes, but who knows. If they gave you a golflink card, you probably wouldn't be having this trouble.

Thommo has said that Robina Woods is reliable, so maybe you should make the move for the extra $30, but with the extra perks.

can you just send them non comp cards signed by a golf link player to get your handicap status back?

Macca, didnt yuo get me to pick up your Golflink card?

All golf clubs that use Golf link are not supposed to return cards to the home club, they are meant to be entered at the club where you play.

If you like I'll yell at the handicapper next time i see him.

that would be awesome ;)

the only card they sent was a Emerald Lakes brnadd membership one.

I rang 3 times about getting the golflink one, each time the person there said 'it should be in the mail'

i lost track when i injured myself so didn't followup for 4+ months...my bad.

each time they said Golflink would be sending me the card?does that sound correct?

the emmy lakes branded one couldn't be the golflink could it? i thought those guys kept it undera tight rein...

Fingers crossed. I'm still waiting for my new golflink card, but I've got my Robina membership card and newsletter etc.

i haven't received a golf link card from Robina - hell I didn't even get one as a 7 day member at Oxley.

That said, Robina has never missed a card for me so far.

yes golflink send the cards out, but you will only get it if you have provided your club with your correct postal address and they forwarded it to golflink link correctly.
