First hit today with this ended in trouble...pics will tell the story. :( No bash on the ground, just hit the ball cleanish and looked down to see that the shaft had fractured at the top of the hosel.

Head is in 7/10 nick, bought off TNO...a few tiny scrapes here and there but no skymarks. Shaft is a Project X Velocity 6.5 out of a X Hot Pro 3 wood. Fracture is about a cm short of the top of the tip prep...would still be usable once you clean the tip up a little. No head cover

$50 posted for the lot.

Ouch! My 5 iron looked like that after the first nine today...

The shaft measure 41" from the butt end of the grip to the fracture "line", just so people know how long it might play in their 5 or 7 woods. Or pop a butt extension in to suit.
