Yo looking for some advice.
Went to drummond to haveba tip removed bloke didnt want to risk warping the shaft. No biggie, however i need the tip off.

Can anyone suggest a viable option to remove the tip?

I have an air compressor and was thinking slowly heat the tip blow air down the shaft and pop it off. Perhaps 110 psi down the shaft should help remove it without me twisting it and warping the shaft. Would appreciate any options

Cheers lads

ok

lock it in that,

use a shifting spanner to pry the tip off against the bench vice after heating up the tip.

Get someone to do it unless you don't care about the shaft, they are fruit to pull.

Don't heat the adapter too much either.
It's aluminium and what ever it's covered in will flake off.
