Why don't they do all the main comps on the South? - It's the best of the two.

It was more the fact that it's supposed to be a "black tee" and the South is shorter than the North ? Don't know how far back they can go on a lot of those tee blocks.

Nudgees greens are pretty good at the moment so there shouldn't be any excuses if you hit greens in reg :)

Thanks for the hit boys. Greens were a little slow. Was fin though. Do like the south course. More interest than the North even if it is shorter. but for a crap start could have had a good score today.

Thanks for organising our group Mike (3PP). We played with an old work colleague of mine, who is the Club Treasurer these days, hadn't seen him in ages. Agree the greens were a touch slow (grainy I think), but nevertheless they were in very good nick and consistent. I had a very, very ordinary first nine, and used up all my hcp, then some. But came home with a wet sail 38 on the back for a net 75.

A bit annoyed with Downesy though. I thought (correctly I now see) that this was supposed to be a Bay Golf event, but he was adamant it wasn't and charged me full visitor price. And he forgot to give me the beer voucher as well! Not happy Jan!

Yep it was one of those Ferret moments alas the infamous Mango incident at Gails , and thanks for the Hit guys although it was fun my new Ass is killing me I've managed to buy a set of Irons and a Driver to sooth the Pain!
