Forged (Near Net Triple forging process) combo irons, 3-PW. Long irons are cavity-back, the short irons become progressively more muscle-backed.

DG S300 shafts. New Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips. Have always used iron covers and the clubs are in excellent shape as a result. Only mild wear on short irons. The mid & long irons are in very good condition. Very soft, yet durable clubs. A great option for someone looking at MP32, 690MB/CB, RAC, Nike Pro-Combo etc...

Happy for Brisbane locals to demo.

$250 + postage. 8)

I'm not playing well enough any more to use these, so I've put my old 855s back in the bag. They were the first decent irons I ever owned (1996) and they're still in good nic. I need the extra forgiveness of the oversize heads and the offset to help me make better contact. I've played the last couple of rounds with 2-6 irons from the 855s and was hitting the ball quite nicely again.

The evo's are a sweet set of irons still, however it's time I got past my ego and hit the clubs that I need, not what I love the look of... :( Before I go back to forged blades or combo's I'd need to be playing weekly and practicing regularly.

Thanks Deano. Funnily enough, my missus borrowed "Golf for dummies" from the library the other week for me.... Brett Ogle uses the same evo's as these. Not sure why he'd have chosen them unless he was sponsored or something. Seemed a bit too obscure for a paid product placement... :?

"Golf for dummies"

Haha,know it well.

Actually I've got a few brand new copies of the DVD version
at home here which were sent to me at work sometime back.
Brett hosts it too from memory.

Bris, PM me your postal and I'll shoot one to ya.

Cheers

Deano
