I noticed. Especially after a few good days play.

Maybe there was a stand-off to see who would start it. You caved in first.

Well I have missed alot of it due to work but I did see the last hour or so today. Aussies should win this one.

Two 5 day tests in a row, now isn't that novel !!!

It is a ploy by the South Africans to ruin the Aussie test for years to come.

FFS, the fact that he is in the side is a joke.
Now that he is getting some low pressure runs, they'll probably claim that the wait was worth while.

in your opinion of course

regardless of what we think, the selectors are showing they have faith in his ability.

maybe it's time some of us did too.

Everyone has faith in his ability - this is the first time he has repaid that faith in a test match 8)

I'd give it to Hussey.

If symonds pulls a few more wickets he could be in with a chance. But that effort of hussey's and mcgrath's made the game. That's gotta be worth something.

terryand

I always thought it was meant to go to the individual performance that had the most influence in the game. That being said I think Hussey would just have his nose in front of Ponting, Hayden and Symonds.

Although Symonds has had a hand in more turning points, in getting vital wickets in both innings and scoring his runs so fast it gave his team extra time to bowl the opposition out(not that they are going to need it now)

Terry.

looking at the above bowling stats, it looks like McGrath has had a really bad time of it in this series :?

AndyP

I really don't think a lot can be taken from stats in a series that is less than two matches old. Needs a bigger sample size.

cazandpaul

I'd give it to Hayden.

Jarro - we all love Symonds and we all want him to do well but one match doesn't make a career or cement your place in the team (but it does give some breathing space and underline his potential :D )
