So so bad yesterday, 20 points for easily my worst round this year

Started well by scrambling and was 1 point up after 3 then went all downhill.

Putted well when i got to the green, just didnt get to the green very often. Oh well!

Ill be out on sunday though cause i figure it cant get much worse than that, plus should be a bit of fun playing with my mates in Lakeball!

Not having a stab at you mate. I've only done 80's once. It was high 80's to, an 88, but still below 90. Yea I know what you mean, I started of with 3 x 1 putts then the wheels came off a little with a 3 putt and all it took was a couple of 2 putts and goodbye 80's. monthly mug on Saturday so I want to back it up again with a good game, time will tell

Played yesterday and had 38 points (2 over). Hit only 7 fairways and 7 greens but with 27 putts was able to hold it together.

Monthly Medal today and hit 85/70 (41/44) 30 putts. Finished birdie, birdie. Pretty happy the way I was hitting it until 15 where I had double par (8) after putting one in the dam.

I was trying to nominate this round this morning but couldnt log in on the iphone. Oh well!!!

Had Monthly Medal today as well. Had a 92/72. Went 41/51. My last few holes were 7 (4), 10 (5), 5 (4). Loving golf...:oops:

First hit out at Kooindah as a member and it started with promise. I was 3 over after 9 and birdied the 10th, was 2 over after 11. Finished 11 over, driver was working pretty well, irons were terrible and I putted crap. Really disappointed in my efforts.

Monthly medal today , didn't have many expectations as I'm going through a few swing changes and was hitting thrm rubbish on the range , played a consistent 6 over front 9 ( 3 pars,6 bogeys) played the back 9 7 over with 2 doubles and a birdie. Felt like I hit the all amazing today but had 4 or 5 lip outs .. 85/69 in the end , lowest comp score for 18 holes I've had so far, off the blues too so it will be rated 73 and be a played to 12. Hopefully my cap drops a full shot . Have a home game pennants match tomorrow so hopefully keep it up !

89/76 in the medal at Gainsborough. Started par/par/par which I've never done there...and then it turned to custard.
Was playing with the trainee who is off +5 and hits it a country mile which was great to watch.
The biggest positive was I didn't miss a green from 150m which is pretty rare for me.
Just was woeful off the tee - have a bad case if the lefts.
Anyway, hopefully out again in a fortnight.

Monthly Medal @ Kapunda

Strong winds and some rain today. Only 2 scores in the whole field today on or under the ACR in a field of 50. We normally see any where from 6-10 on ACR or under so I guess the course played tough. Made a couple of really soft doubles with poor chip shots from the rough and failed to get it up and down after.

Managed to snare a NTP for the first time since joining the club with my best iron shot of the day. Flushed a 178m 3iron into the wind to 12 foot. Really surprised as you normally need to knock them under 4-5 foot as every one gets two shots at it on a 9 hole course and first time around the hole is 143m.

Putting was average but a least my good distance control was back so no 3 stabs which had crept into the game over the last few rounds. Never holed any thing bigger than 6 foot thou.

Tried the RIP Alpha Red Eyes in regular flex today (Normally Stiff). Not a great day to really tell but on a couple of holes I think I was a few yards further to where I would expect my ball to given the conditions. The last hole was the big indicator that there may be little extra in it. Not sure if it was shaft related or swing tempo but I hit it a lot of drives straight left (pulls). I'm leaning towards a quick tempo as my iron play was off also. Stats show the hit/miss was poor compared to the stiff but I'm willing to get it another round in better conditions. I few times I felt the shaft flex/kick (not sure what term to use).

First game in a month and I wasn't playing well before had a break so I was expecting much, so finishing with 32 points playing of 6, I was very please. Started on the back nine at cabra and went bogey, double, bogey so I wasn't expecting too much. I knocked it on for 2 on the par 5 13th, but 3 putted (first of 3 for the day) for par. Birdied 17 then had a 3 putt bogey on 18 ( hit the lip twice). Played the last 5 holes on the front nine at 1 under (5 straight 1 putts). Went with the SF 2.0 TP with the BiMatrix Shaft, hit it really well. Best I've hit the driver and putted for a long time!!

Nothing spectacular except for my phone bricking itself midway through the round.

Triple on the 17th really stunk up my round... And it all happened in a flash. Silly really.

Running 12th at the moment..79 had me running top 5. Stupid round & but considering i was sick, not overly bothered.

Highlight was bending over to putt & having snot fall on my ball.

An awesome :roll: 78 in the first round of club champs at Dartmoor GC yesterday.

Diamana D+ is definitely my shaft in the 910. Hit it awesome off the tee, probably not enough GIR to claim good iron play but didn't miss greens by huge amounts. Holes had not been moved since last Saturday morning (when they had 70-odd players over them twice, 9 hole course) then had 2 inches of rain over the week so you can imagine how good they were to putt on. A putting comp was also held and the winner of that had 30 putts!

Would have been a tough day putting watching the ball wander off on strange angles when running out of speed.
Only the bold putters that hammer the back of the cup would do ok.

Even hammering the ball at the cup was hard as you didn't want to hit it 3 foot past again and have just as hard a putt.

I had a horror day yesterday too, but actually it's just a typical round of golf for me lately. I'll be on my anchor within a month or so if something doesn't change, I just don't know WTF is going on.

Was 2 over through 6 yesterday, hitting the ball pretty well. Ended up shooting 91 off the beater for an 82 nett. 17 over through the last 12 holes. FML.

Turds or diamonds golf the last few days. Started with a win at Stonecutter's on Friday in an Iseekgolf day, had 23pts at Penrith on Saturday, won singles on Sunday at Penrith, had 30pts at Dunheved on Monday, won 2ball aggregate at Camden Lakeside on Tuesday & won 2ball scratch at Penrith today.
