As the header states, like to know who else here has Honmas in their bag.
My first set of honies were pp717 blades, have since sold them to a mate on the "dark side" ISG.
I now use cl 707 blades.Bought them from states recently with carbon shafts.Complete set 1ir thru S/wedge.

Never thought that much of Loren, bit too one dimensional for mine - but Dart is a top bloke and an absolute gentleman. The world needs more people like him.

I walked into a Honma store in Tokyo a number of years ago. Lots of sets and all had graphite shafts. Stars on the shafts indicated the 'quality' (I suppose!). Picked a few up and had a look including a mini practice swing. Saw a very serious looking man standing next to a sign that had in large Japanese (and small English) letters, "any clubs marked are considered sold"! I placed the club carefully down when I saw the prices. Cheapest set of irons in the store (3stars) were 450000 yen (or about $6000 at the time!).
I left promptly

I thought it was the strands of titanium or some such in the shaft and the level of the craftsman and materials used... too long ago... I am sure Google will help.
