Can't recall when but, I remember Allenby giving his caddie a 'real' spray after hitting an absolute shite shot some years ago. He'd been niggling his caddie all round (gee how unusual), in response I heard his caddie mutter 'I did my job, how about you do yours'..

I don't think he remained as Allenby's caddie after that..

I caddied for Barassi a couple of years after that (a few months before he started back at Melbourne), and he didnt give me any sprays like that. But he did ask me to hide his sand wedge cos when i pulled it out of the bag the shaft was still wrapped in brown paper.

I remember the tv cameras catching Vaughn Summers (spelling) in the 80's slam a club into face of a left hand side fairway trap on the 16th @ Koyoonga while in contention for the S.A Open. Thought it was hell funny as you normally didn't see that sort of thing on tv and the commentators quickly saying "oh oh I think he just killed a snake" (It may have been Peter Tompson).
