Seriously, he has to be related to deans, surely?

Illegitimate kid perhaps?

Folau is pretty handy for a guy who hasn't played much rugby.

Yep,

but if that is how the wallabies are going to play this year in all the matches... It will be a great year.

We need a quality 5/8. Hard to believe that in 5 provincial teams we don't have a quality specialist 5/8.

Cooper is the best option at 10.

He goes missing and throws in some shocking games. Beale in there and bring Mogg into fullback, JOC to 12. Assuming we lose the head knocks for a week.

I think he's a knob but he's clearly the best option. Beale better at 15. Deans won't pick him so it's a moot point.

yep. cooper at his best is easily the best. If only he'd play that well all the time.

Cooper costs games. Has a blinder to four shockers. Some good signs tonight. As has been said, if only we had a kicker.

How good is Folau!

I think with that kind of talent you just have to suck up the bad games, or have a plan b on the bench.

The area of the field was a cow paddock. He should have kicked the other one but it wasn't straight in front, even carter missed an easy kick tonight.

Its funny. I remember Grant Fox (84%) and Michael Lynagh (72%) as guys that hardly missed goal kicking at test match level (stats are from all tests).

Dan Carter is at almost 88%.

KB is 64%
JOC is 55%
Cooper is 70%

JOC unfortunately is always a bit hit & miss as is evidenced by his stats...

When he's on, my god is he on but, he does throw in some shockers with the boot...

We seemed to have found some aggression around the breakdown for a change; that has been missing from our game for quite some time it was good to see & my god I hope that is the sign of times to come..

Still some silly ball handling errors which didn't help & I was gob smacked when we had the penalty 5 or so metres from the line & decided to kick... WTF??

Matt Toomoua is the future at 5/8 for the Wallabies.
Possibly the best defensive 5/8 in the game, and is starting to read the game well.
We would have won if he or Foley was playing at 5/8

Scrum was amazingly good tonight and really shocked the lions

At this level if the points are on offer you generally have to take them. going for the tries cost QLD a super XV victory earlier in the year, and this is a much more intense and harder to score environment. The fact that we missed 4 goals we should have kicked sucks though.

This was brilliant, we may finally put the crap about our scrums being poor to rest.

JOC is not a flyhalf, he looks for space in the defensive line - but he doesn't have the ability to create space like others.

Quade is a dick, don't care how much you QLDers like him - he is a **** of the highest order and also a turnstile in defence. His career is dead, go back to the rapists game. (Yes I like watching him in QLD colours)

What I liked about last night was the lack of errors... sure there was a few, but not like the Wallabies of last year... every 3 minutes they would cough up the ball. Also the kicking game was restricted as we tried to control possession... I love that, and that is how we have won games in the past.

Kurtley @ 10, JOC outside him, Israel @ 15. Leleanfano kicking. Kurtley was sensational all night too.

There were some awful kicks last night though. One of which led directly to a try. But you are right, the ball handling was extremely good.

Coopers defense has been significantly better this year. But he won't get picked so it doesn't matter.

what are you on? Cooper is back as soon as deans is gone. Folau needs more time before you make him 15.

Quade in a waste of perfectly good oxygen.

He's the sort of person that if he wasn't so good at football, would probably be getting passed around a jailhouse somewhere.
