Shot 96 today, good enough for second place with 39 points. Ball striking was really good today, a huge improvement on last week.hPpy my game is back on track

Not raining on the parade, just stating the facts. Claiming a six on a hole where you lose two balls and never get off the tee is a bit of a stretch.

Groundhog Day. Another 34 pts at Thurgoona today. Ballstriking was shithouse, missing way too many greens with short approach clubs.

Travelled over to Port Fairy, my old and Jacks current stomping ground for a game today.

Went 3 over round the back then square round the front for 75 and 35 stableford points. Such an up and down day, I could have had 70 as easily as 80 so 75 is probably a fair result in the end. To say the guys I played with were "strugglers" is a bit of an understatement. Through the first 8 holes two of them had hit 13 balls out of bounds and lost an ADDITIONAL 4. Great blokes though.

I had 33 points (7 over) 2 over round the front with a double to start and a poor up&down attempt from the fringe on 9. My score on the back nine blew out after a poor second shot found the water and my drive up the last went OB.

With your up 'n' downs. How are you measuring them? Reason I ask is you hit 11 GIR but have 7/14 up and downs.

Anything under 50 metres for me counts. Yesterday I had quite a few 40-50m chips run just off the green so I would have 2 goes at the up n down.
