Guys I'm interested in this putter, was have a select newport and was considering the 1.5 but think I will stick with the shape I'm comfortable.

Is this a good price

Just steer clear of any that have hobby shop paint all over them.

Very good price for a "FIRST OF 500"
If you held for a few years and not gamed it, youll get your $500 back.

This and a 1.5 are very different putters, should try b4 you buy (if possible).

Yeah I have an older model of the studio select and love the shape, but its an older model so looking to upgrade, tried the 1.5 over the last few weeks but always come back to the studio select.

Ferrins...do you mean any with custom paint fill etc?

The deep mill takes a while to get used to.
If i where you and love your old one, stick with it.
If your cashed up, go for it!;)

The older model has the face insert and not enjoying that compared to the deep mill, prefer the feedback from the deep mill and consistency too

It's only worth getting the 1/500 if you keep it mint and don't use it. You then should be able to sell it for more down the track. A used one is not worth that much more than a used standard one.

probably looking at using it if i am being honest, saying that its a pretty good price even for a standard right? with the grip etc

$300 is probably a good price for a 1/500, not sure I would pay $500 if I was going to game it......

I have found the newer version 1/500s don't hold enough premium gamed to warrant the extra $$$$$$

Yep, thats what the first of 500 retail at, id say he got it from a US distributor...not the S.C Shop.

I think I might buy it and put you out of your misery as I prefer the Newport over the Newport 2.
