There is nothing that would have changed on the forum two weeks ago that would affect logging in. Unless I experience it myself, I don't know what I can do.

same here. i am using IE. occurs after every reboot of the PC. i am never logged in, and then have to log in twice.

i also use Firefox on Linux at another office, and it does not have the problem at all.

possibly a MS security update.

i have added ozgolf.net to trusted sites so i will see if that solves the problem.

As I have already informed AndyP, I am no longer able to login at all using Safari. I am reduced to useing IE for Mac.

Has been happening for me since the server crashed. Log in twice if I click on Log in, once if I click log in to view private messages.

Delete your bookmark/favourite for OzGolf.

Go to the site and login (again).

Add a bookmark/favourite at the Main Menu screen.

Worked for me.

OK, I think it is a cookie issue but on the forum side of things. If I get the chance, I'll try something later on tonight to see if it fixes things for you all.

It's a workaround, not a fix.

-----------

Hopefully it is fixed now.

However, you must clear your browser cookies and cache, and close and restart your browsers for the new settings to take effect.

Let me know if it the problem still exists.

It works until I restart my computer, then the first login since reboot I have to log in, after that it logs me in automatically.

No need to delete all your cookies, that just means having to re-enter passwords for all those other web sites you visit.

You guys do visit other websites (other than eBay), don't you?

I was still having troubles but deleting just the ozgolf cookies appears to have fixed it. I think the fact that there were 2 might have been the cause.

For those hoping to replicate my success you should open explorer and do a search for ozgolf with "hidden files" being searched. There will be one or txt files and you should delete those.

Just the once or several times?

If it was just the once, there's a chance that someone did send you a message, but then changed their mind and deleted it.

Recent Firefox Updates seem to have given me a problem. I can no longer automatically log in. It requires me to log in to every site I go to everytime regardless if I have hit hte remember me button.

Also seems to crash alot lately too.

Anyone else having problems?

It sounds like a cookie issue. Have you set it to accept cookies from these sites?

edit your preferences, look at the security settings where site passwords are stored

failing that delete the entire profile directory. Failing that delete your entire profile directory, (I assume that FF still uses profile directories in windows?)

backup your bookmarks first
