View Full Version : Training aids - what do you use?

Curious to know what training aids people use when they practice and if they find them useful?

I'm just about to start practicing again over the winter break to hopefully start playing again this summer. I'm in the process of working out a training program (both on course & off) and thought Id ask the question if there is that "one thing" you've found helped on the range/hitting balls?

Any recommendation appreciated

Cheers

Ben

I bought this mainly to warm up with. But I have found it is much more than a warm up club. It gets me turning right through the ball.

Couple of old shafts. Some used for alignment and others used for targets for pitching and chipping.

Have a couple of alignment sticks which are the simplest and best. I also have a boomerang putting trainer which stays set up in the study.

Did you guys pay $40 for the swingyde? I don't see the difference between that and the ones on eBay for $3?

And the Swingbyte has been fantastic in getting me to monitor and effectively work on so many parts of my swing.

The only training aids in my kit are an oversize belt and a golf compression belt. The former is to tie my right upper arm to my side and the latter is to activate the correct posture muscles involved in the swing.
