Is Mt Lawley not in the top 100?!

I'm undecided on this one. Cott may be out of reach as far as $$ is concerned, but I wouldn't be too worried if that is what happened and I had to skip the Friday morning round. I like both Kwinana and Mandurah if they are the go.

Does 8 spots mean 8 tee times or 8 people?

Shadesy
23rd May 2013, 10:33 AM
8 tee Times.

I think the price is a little out of reach for some of the players with families.

I've actually decided on Another Course that is not in the Poll that is Better than Kwinana.... The CUT.

From the pictures that I have seen of The Cut, it looks like the perfect course to play matchplay.

I reckon the cut would be an awesome MP course.

Local knowledge is hugely valued there, and would definately help the WAnkers win.

edit: An added bonus. it will be quiet - Tourfit wont play.

Absolutely.
I doubt there will be too much local knowledge going around either.

You mentioned 18 in the morning and 9 in the afternoon? Where would the 9 be and what time?

I voted for Mandurah for the 18, if it's there I can afford to do the morning and arvo rounds, but if people vote for Cottesloe for the morning 18, I'll just meet you all for the arvo 9 holes. Still plenty of golf over the weekend so I don't mind missing 18/63 holes.

if it's at The Cut I'd be intrigued to see how many balls I can lose there. Might leave out every club longer than a 6 iron so I don't run out of ammo :D

145 views and only 2 votes (in addition to yours) is evidence enough.

Doesn't take away from your magnificent organisation efforts though.

I'm happy to play wherever is decided but for my 2c worth.

I rate Cott as a golf course but not sure it warrants the sort of dollars they're asking. Easy for me to say though as I've played it plenty of times.

I've only played the cut once and have been in no hurry to go back, but for a weekend like this I'd vote for it ahead of Cott.

Doesn't matter where it is played. The Nully Cup is staying on the east coast.

While it would be an expensive treat to play Cott, $120 is way over priced unless lunch includes a scotch fillet and a nice bottle of red. Mandurah would be the obvious choice if it wasn't so close to coring date so unfortunately The Cu*t is the next best choice as much as that pains me to say....it will be an excellent match play venue.

The Cut? You blokes may as well give the easties a free pass for NC2.

The amount of baggage most WAnkers have about the joint...heaven help us if a match or two is lost on 17!

The venue for the Nullarbor Cup 2 and the pre Champs hit is ....

The Cut Golf Course.

$75 gets you breaky rolls, coffee and a BBQ lunch afterwards, Carts and green fees.

We also have 2 tee times so we are able to finish around the same time.Tee off will be 9am

PM's will be sent tomorrow and $30 deposit is required to secure the tee times and deal.
