Played the back marker at Arundel today. First time on the course. Was reasonably impressed. 6 is definitely an odd hole.

Started out doing the same crap I have been doing for the last few weeks, but confidence seemed to come back from the 8th on. Ended up net 80 after starting double double triple double. But for a bit of a tin cup muck around with the water on 17 I played the back fairly well. More confidence going into the next round.

I shot 94 at Lynwood yesterday (14 over my hcp). I was utter crap but I did manage to hit my longest ever drive. Par 5 12th hole, pretty flat but a stiff breeze behind us.........290m straight down the middle measured with my gps. Beat my pb by almost 20m! Not bad for a little bloke turning 46 next month. I only had a 5 iron in and of course f'd it up and walked off with a double bogey 7.........you gotta laugh.

34 Points around Reddy Bay today. Some semblance of a game coming back now. 3 wipes thanks to poor tee shots and not recovering well. 1 birdie, 6 pars. 32 putts (19 on the front ... ) 7 fairways and 3 Gir.

Next game the Ozgolf Masters at Woodford, unless a sneaky midweek game comes up.

After a wonderful 23 pts at Lynwoon on Sunday, I teed it up at Penrith not knowing what to expect. I put an ad bb in my R1 for the first time to add to the unknown & striped it all day bar one hole that left me in a bit of trouble. Missed a bunch of 1-2 footer's that are normally tap ins but that's what happens when confidence is down I guess. Ended up finishing with 35pts & combined well with my mate to win the 2ball scratch. From the shithouse to the penthouse in a few days, dare say it won't be long before I'm in the crapper again.

I also hit my longest ever GPS measured non-wind assisted drive at Lynwood, on the 16th. My longest ever was (wind assisted) was on 18. Must be something about the course.

Played this morning at lakelands had 38 points ( even front 3 over back). Hit 13 greens 10 fairways and had 33 putts very happy with the score in such windy conditions

36 pts at Penrith, should of been better but flubbed some chips/ pitches due to the soggy arse ground. Also used a new putter (2ball metal X) for the first time & loved it & used the R1/ AD BB combo twice in row, that hasn't happened for quite a while. Also had the pleasure of watching a mate serve up a stinker today, aah good times!

A lazy 35 points today in pretty windy conditions. Hit the ball reasonably well, putted OK, can't complain really. Only had one bad hole (wiped 15) and there was some bad luck involved in that. T3 in A grade (was 5th OCB) which just goes to show others found it tough too.

Up and down all day , pars and doubles , birdies and triples to shoot 92 in very windy conditions .. Won the c grade champs... Many beers bought fr me so all up a great day / arvo should bring the cap down to a possible 16 also as ill have 23 drop off for a 19 .. Highlight of the day was the A grade champ spewing over the balcony about 35 mins ago after all the beer bought for him

Nudgee: chopped up 34 pts with a wash and 6 singles. All bar one of the singles was on holes I don't get shots on.

Struggled with the wind and was leaving everything short and could not buy a putt. Only birdie came from a sandy on the 8th.

HCP 12.4 No change dropped a PT14 and replaced with a played to 14.

Played Monday at mggc for 32p on cored greens. Played ok a cpl of putts jumped off line and didn't take some chances.

Played thur at Gosnells 23p after 11 then 4p from then. ****n pissed off with myself. Gosnells is in rippa condition if anyone is looking to play there in coming weeks.

A tale of two 9's in stroke round at Cairns Yesterday,

Tee off the 10th.... 6 Pars, 1 Birdie, 2 Bogeys... Hit every fairway bar 1, hit a reasonable amount of greens & had 12 putts

Then tee'd off on 1st.... Triple, bogey, bogey, double, bogey, par, double, bogey, double... hit a few fairways, hit two greens & had 20 putts

One of my 4 jacks was a slippery putt that I left short to get to the slippery part so that was one of them. And to be honest, I can't even think where the other one was. I feel like I have been putting quite well lately, except 2 holes yesterday.

Very average yesterday, 27pts 16/11, 2 wipes on the front, 3 consecutive on the back. anything from 110 in killed me yesterday, thats usually a strengh of my game.

weird thing was that i played better in the fog when we couldnt see the flag from 100m

First game for almost 2 weeks. Had 34 points with 4 wipes. So not too bad if I say so. But had a mate who plays of 4, play with me today and he had 34 points too and was pissed off. FMD he is awesome.
