Does anyone drive a Volkswagen Golf here? Does a stand bag with clubs and a small buggy,eg Clicgear, fit into your boot without removing the driver and without folding seats down?

Not what I hoped to hear..is that with a stand bag or cart bag though? A cart bag tends to be a few cms longer. Does a buggy fit in there too without folding a seat down?

never had a buggy or a cart bag... if i had to guess id say with only one set of clubs you'd find a way to make it happen...

I had a v6 Bora 4Motion, which was a touch bigger than a golf, and had no probs getting a staff bag in the boot width ways...

I have a GTD, and I have to take the driver and three wood out. Bag and clicgear in first, and put the driver and three wood in on top. Easy as

Not sure if this was directed at me lol..was thinking of getting the VW Golf MK7 2013 version and need it to fit a stand bag and buggy for me to even consider it :)

Nah at Popper, but all in fun.

I have to take the driver and fairway out to fit the bag in the boot of the Pug unless it is the only thing in there.

Can't believe a golf bag doesn't fit comfortably in a car called a Golf! I'd sue.

Here you go... My clubs wouldn't fit with the drivers & 3 wood on the bag. Taken out though, they will fit in on top of my bag ( thanks to the cuts out at each end)

Any other questions? Drives great. Radio is shit, looses FM stations all the time.

Will fit on the back seat, I drive a Polo and it fits fine. No re-arranging required.
Also means you can't give mates a lift ;)

Bad Popper. You have just given Lefty an idea for a new thread.

ps. Courty would have trimmed that quilt cover to fit the boot, and sewn a contrasting blanket-stitch around the edge.

Dotty this is not my car... I am way too disrespectful to drive a VW.

popper...thanks for the pics! :) I guess I can live with taking out the driver and 3 wood. I guess. More an inconvenience than anything else.

Will a VW Golf suit as a hire car for 2 golfers = so two golf travel bags (stand bags inside) , and 2 suitcases
I guess with the back seats down, that should be a wizzer, right?

Would a VW Polo also be big enough?

Hey Popper. Have you tried putting the clubs in on an angle? So the heads of the clubs will stay where they are, but the base of the bag goes in the opposite corner. My Mazda 3 won't fit a bag in across the front without removing the driver and 3 wood, but it does fit in on an angle like i just mentioned.

Then the golf buggy (clicgear) sits in the gap left at the front.

I'm with the majority, being more interested in Grunt's next update.

Posting this only to help future people looking at a Golf with the intention of putting clubs in the boot.

I can confirm it is possible in a Mk 7 Golf, but driver and 3 wood need to be removed. I managed to get a full size cart bag with a Clic Gear in the boot with the rear seats up in a few different variations.

In all these photos, the boot is able to close without hitting anything.
