R1 sleeve in an R11?

Would this work? Will you get the same lofts as an R1?
Or is there something in the bore of the head as well?

Not a dumb question as I've wondered myself!
I have just received an R1 sleeve.....but have an R11s head.
Might be a question for golfwrx?

Pretty sure it won't work mate. I've got an R1 & tried my shafts with R11/R11s/RBZ tips into the R1 & they don't fit, I haven't tried to put an R1 tip in the others but the teeth on the bottom of both tips are different.

I have tried this recently; R9/R11 tip into an RBZ Stage 2... wouldn't go.

All depends how much you want it to fit. Am sure you can get anything to fit if you use the right amount of force.

L4G, seems to me the length of the fittings is now longer? My R9 tip looked ~2-3mm too short for the RBZ Stage 2 fitting.
