Mine was playing X... Daves plays X... I think it will play way soft for you. In saying that it works for tiger.

Find a x flex matrix... That is what you want.

Tiger plays a 6X tipped an inch if that helps. Even the 7 played soft to flex for me but now i've (finally) lopped enough off the tip it's doing the business in an Anser. The BB is definitely more stable off the rack with a stiffer tip.

A DI-8x with tipping to suit is going to be a fair bit of shaft. I have it from a good source Adams is tipped 1.25". He also plays it at 44.75" which would obviously make it tighter than playing it at a longer length.

Rick,

The one I owned was 7s tipped 1inch.

I hit the 6x tipped 1/2inch beside it on the track man at a callaway demo day at the end of last year.

The numbers we almost the same, ie spin/carry when I compared my shaft and the fitting guys personal one.

I doubt tiger is playing 6x tipped 1inch.

Scott's numbers sounds closer to the money.

If it was me, I would get a 6x tipped 1/2 for me.... You have seen me hit it. Draw your own conclusion from that.

Actually you're right, it's tipped 1.5".

I was mixed up with his WB83x. Graphite Design confirmed it's 1.5" ages back. 100% factual.

Well, glad you prompted me. Nothing worse than misinformation with golf gear lol

The WB83X was always an inch as it was heavier and dare i guess stouter than the Di-6.
