Do they have different colour schemes for the AD DIs? I have only seen them in Orange. The one that Scott was using today seemed to be a black Tour AD pattern, a bit like the EV.

According to GolfWRX, it's just a stock AD DI with a black paint job.

It's a special made in that colour. Be interesting if it becomes a std extra cost shaft in Titleist woods from now on.

Are those irons the same as the ones in the new equipment thread?

The 712u in the new equip thread only come in 2,3,4 iron. They've been made as alternatives to poofwoods.

Meet the new prototype Titleist 712U utility iron, which has been designed to deliver consistency and control to high-ball speed players.
On the worldwide professional tours, some players prefer a utility iron over a hybrid club as an alternative to traditional long irons. The 712U delivers increased playability versus a traditional long iron while providing enhanced spin and trajectory control versus a hybrid.
The prototype 712U is being sent to players this week for performance validation and feedback. We will also be on the range at the season ending PGA Tour Fall Series event at Disney in early November working with Titleist staff players.
The 712U is currently a Tour-only product, but the feedback we receive during this validation period will influence the final design and specifications, as well as determine the product's place in the Titleist club line-up.

I'd say his i20 3iron was bent stronger, maybe like a 1 or 2 iron loft....?

His i20 3 iron looked heaps longer than the 4 in the photos do I would say it had been built into a driving iron as such

yep. Scotts 3wd cleared the slope basically and stopped.

Cabrera's landed on the top edge of the slope and caught the run down the hill.

Cabrera monstered that 1-3 iron!! got some run and didnt look like it got more than 6ft of the ground. Saw scotty putting at santuary cove at the start of the year before the aus masters with the prototype but it was regular length, he didnt seem to like the "normal putter" and went back to chipping after only hittting about 20 odd putts
