OT - Mac for School Homework

My son and daughter are always fighting over the one Mac we have in the house so I'm looking for a cheap Mac laptop or desktop (Mini preferred). Ideally, would like something that runs Snow Leopard or higher.

Anyone got anything in the cupboard or garage?

I have a Mac Mini (currently being used as my media centre) which I plan in upgrading. Can't give you an ETA yet, though.

It's the original Mac Mini (1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo), upgraded to 1.5GB RAM and a 60GB SSD. Not sure what the value is, give me some time to check out prices. Also, it won't be available until a replacement is in hand.
