Ok I hit my woods terrible.

My irons are pretty good and improving. I actually hit them pretty long and my consitancy is not too bad.

But I need a club I can hit off the T.

My current driver a Cobra 427ss, I've had for a while. It was cut down to 44" and I was hitting it ok. But then I broke it by the tip and I haven't hit a good drive since. Even good feeling swings go blah to awful.

I would like to find out if the problem is with the arrow or the archer. Clearly some custom fitting would be helpful, but I don't really want to waste any fitter's time, if all the problem is with my wonky swing.

Suggestions?

What did they do with your driver when you broke it at tip?

I dunno. Just cut it straight and stuck it back in is my guess.

I got lots of problems with the club. My bad shot is a hook. Primarily am not fussed on how it looks closed at address and if i open it I unconsciously want to close it, making an ugly hook. Can't win.

Really good shots go very high and much shorter than they used to.

Alot of good feeling shots can hook or push randomly.
