Not yet, bit busy at the mo, fly off to Tasmania to do Targa friday plus also in the middle of selling a house and trying to find a new one! Will get back on to it late April/early May!

OK, need to arrange this in a hurry so Mt Compass, (Fleurieu Golf Course), on either Sunday 4th, 11th, of August! They are the options.

Need to know who intends playing AND which date is preferred, then I'll book tee times for the appropriate day.

Cut-off is Sunday 21st July, if not enough people interested I will just can it and let the whole thing die a death.

OK all, have booked for 3 consecutive groups at Mt Compass, Sunday 11th August, 8.00am - all OK with that time!? (was the best I could get - everything else was much later!)

Feedback please, if time is no good, (for people travelling from North of Adelaide especially!), then I will have to look at a different venue .................. I went with Mt Compass as it is a bit less travelling involved plus at this time of year Lady Bay can be an absolute pig of a place weather wise :-s

Was freezing cold for a about 15m then eased to bloody cold. Then after a couple of beers the world was right again :)

Kapunda looked like that @ 9am after some hail.
I copped a hail shower just after hitting my chip shot onto the 15th in the afternoon and that green looked like that while we putted out. Was like curling with 4 of us all helping clear a path for the putts. Was 8° @ Kapunda with a nice wind chill factor for good measure.

Had a really squidgy/muddy game at Belair today, (catching up with a friend, think I came home wearing half the course, was standing water and sloppy mud everywhere), hope the conditions are more than a bit better next Sunday! :-)

Compass should be fine as it's a sandy base. Shouldn't be too many sloppy spots on the course.

Not surprised Belair was a bog hole. Was told there wasn't a lot of grass on it in the summer. Dirt+rain+hills = mud.

For some reason Mt Compass seems to cop less weather than the surrounding areas too. That day I played with Chilled, it drizzled for about 5 mins, but threw it down all day around most of the state!

Well the OzGolf game at Mt Compass has been and gone, and we must have done something right as the weather gods were very kind, not a drop of rain and the sun shone, but it did get a bit blowy on the back nine - but we'll take that!

In the end there were seven of us playing, 6 OzGolfers, highballin, HatchmanSS76, Chilled, Simsy, DaveT, (cannot remember his log-on name!), myself and a guy from work who was keen for a game.

Believe everyone had a good day, some better than others - 42 points with 3 scrubs will do that! (and no it wasn't me ........ )

Great company, great course made for a great day.

The highlight of the day was the weather, just fantastic. Occasionally the golf was good too! Pair of 35's and one 42 (not me!) in our group, so not too bad.

Would be good to get another game just prior to crissy....perhaps around Nov some time.

Thanks Nadge. Been improving each week but handicap is still high 25 because foursomes and ambrose events last few weeks. I only get to play one day on weekend. Feel like I will make a mess of handicap this weekend with a bit of luck. Stroke Medal round ��
