I don't remember the last time I drank that. Was a pre-season trip to Albany that apparently ended with a 4am call to my wife asking her to turn on the computer and look up google maps so I could find my way back to the apartments.

With the money I've spent on Tequila lately Hux I probably could've had a trip to Mexico to bring us back some of this plain bottle Respada. Currently drinking Espolon which I like. I stand & gaze at the Milagro bottles at Uncle Dans but $150 for a bottle is a bit beyond me even if the bottle is a piece of art.

Bulliet is made by four roses distillery. It's an ok mixer but not a great sipper IMO. A bit of an all rounder. It's a pretty good call for a gift really.

For mixing with coke I still like wt86.8 but it is awful neat. I like a strong rye bourbon with coke. Wheat recipe like makers mark or low rye can get a bit sickly sweet for me.

If you want a great sipper and can handle spending a bit more the Blanton original brown label is very hard to beat for value.
