Today is World Story Telling Day. I'm calling on the OZgolf fraternity to build a story one sentence at a time. One post - one sentence. No posting twice in a row. Here is the opening sentence;

Courty woke up at 6am.

Courty woke up at 6am. He decided to have a bat as he didn't get any the night before.

Courty woke up at 6am. He decided to have a bat as he didn't get any the night before. He felt like an Australian cricketer, with his inability to score. However, after reaching 'that point of no return' his mind wandered to Ozgolf, and the musings of Ferrins.

And he really wondered if Ferrins was an alias of...

And he really wondered if Ferrins was an alias of Popper, as he had a soft spot for the big fella ever since he outdrove him and won the Long Drive at Moonah Legends.

That's right - Courty was outdriven.

Hard to believe....... But this is where the story takes a twist.

Because this is where Solarman is involved.

You see ... there were many sprinkler heads at Moonah Legends

Makes you wonder what the value of a driver is, say a R11S of undisclosed loft.

LOFT has been Solarman's issue for years.

However An endless supply of batteries has resolved that

Anyway, back to Courty, it was the first day of his club championship and he was very nervous.

He had spent hours deciding on which outfit to wear.

The outfit he had choosen......... was as ghey as ghey could be.

He stood in front of the mirror and like the look of what he saw.

Coiffed his hair, grabbed his gheyest hat and sashayed out the door.

He had his iPod in his ear, playing Stayin' Alive and his feet stepped in tune with the beat.

As he approached his car, he noticed a ruby red shoe, behind his back wheel.

Damn it, I've got to stop leaving my shoes lying around, he said.

And then a cold shiver ran up his spine for he realised that the day he wore those red shoes he wore a pink belt.

It was his first foray into theatre, 'the Micheal Hutchence story" was the play.

'This one time, at band camp...' began the opening monologue.

As he approached his car, he noticed a ruby red shoe, behind his back wheel.

He picked up the shoe and thanked heavens for the the super handy shoe compartment under the passenger seat, much like the slapper in the Ford Fiesta ad.

And jarro was in tow as Peaches.

yet unconvincing as Peaches has at least 6 inches on him. Inspired by Hugh Jackmans performance as Peter Allen, Courty...

grabbed one of his many sets of maracas and went to Rio.

Courty, all limbs and blonde tips.

Belongs on Dancing With The Stars alongside Jo Beth Taylor.

Courty chortled with glee as he sent SMS to join 69er in the gulag.

But SMS was never going to the depths of hell for he was just misunderstood.
