Yeah, I've heard the feel is great. Not sure I need more spin though.

Iain these will suit you to a T and bloody good price here is some feedback "the best Nippon shaft for golfers who need to control the flight and spin, Ball flight is very flat. The tip is actually tapered down twice and is very stable. I normally use the Stiff or X flex in the Nippon but strangely the shaft that felt best for me was the TX (tour X) producing a very consistent flight and trajectory. This shaft was two years in the making and I personally believe it will be the shaft that lures a lot of golfers who have been brought up on Dynamic Gold."

38" 4 iron finished length? So they're 1/2" under?

i think that would make them 1/4" under. 38" is probably gripless. most oem measure with grip on, giving them an extra 1/4" in length.

mizuno measure raw shaft (rubin bars up) and quote 4i to be 38&1/4".

these give a similar launch to dg, lower than kbs. heaps less spin than kbs though.

couldn't be happier with these shafts, i bought them on a hunch and it is the best buy i've ever had.

soft step them if you really need the extra length.

That's the length thanks simmsy. Add half an inch not gonna change the flex much. It's a TX shaft. Great shaft.
