So the mizuno rep came thru with the goods and supplied me with a user set until my mp-59's get stripped and fixed. Only trouble is that they are jpx825's and they feel heaps different to my old clubs. Hope I don't like these better than my old set. EEEK

I almost nabbed a set of standard JPX825 irons. Let me know what you think.

I had a hit with the clubs yesterday at the range. I was getting a lesson there. The clubs seem pretty good, they don't feel as soft as the 59's on a cracking shot and they look heaps different at address, the heads seem a bit bigger but they seemed to perform pretty good. They also have a slightly different sound to my clubs. A friend of mine really liked the look of them and he is looking to buy new clubs so he is thinking of a fitting/test of them.

Had a look at some JPX Pro's at Drummonds while scouting a new putter.
Didn't see the standard JPX.
But the 825 Pro would be the first non MP type club i would consider using.

Played a few rounds with a mates mp-52s and have fallen in love with them, shot my two best scores yet.
Are the MP-53's much different in feel/forgiveness/performance? Seems the second hand ones I've looked at aren't much more expensive than the 52's and are in much better condition.

If u like the 52 the 53 you'll love. Slightly more forgiving without adding any weight to the visual size to it. Won't lose whichever way u go.

MP-58's in the bag after getting them reshafted with s300's. I'm still coming to terms with the higher ball flight coming from blades.

I just bought a few set of clubs - MP 53's with S300's and some 710 AP2's with Rifle Flighted 6.0's. I just couldn't decide and I picked up the 53's for a steal.
Gotta say, the MP 53's are so sweet it's a no brainer. Even slight mishits are super forgiving. I've owned some MP 33/30 Combo set and some MP 52's but these take the cake. Love them.

I have mp 63 in 5-pw, with mp 53 in 3/4 irons. The 53's are great sticks. Perfect for my intended purpose.

I'm a not that flash, but when I make good contact, it feels very soft, but a not so good shot and you get feedback that's for sure. My aim is to only have good shots ha ha

Cheers rowey,
But I've already got mp-59's, the jpx are just a use set until my 59's get repaired. But I'm going to look up the website and see what he has to offer, you never know ha ha
