It is not unreasonable to ask for cod if the buyer is well known and the seller doesn't have the "feedback".

JCC get yourself some seller cred first mate. Sell to someone cod (cash on delivery) in case you're not sure what it means, then once your equipment is seen as good and you're seen as credible you will find it easier to sell some stuff.
