Fubuki 73 stiff, 1/2" longer than 3 wood length. Definitely don't want a trade but still not sure I want to offload it.
It will look pretty in my XCG6 3 wood head arriving today.

Got an Axiv Green 75 'S' (driver length) and/or an 85 'S' at 3W length....
The 85 has been slightly under tip trimmed, so 'may' need a little more (maybe not, I thought it layed pretty stout)

The 7c3 is 42 1/4" long with a r9 tip on it. So would be 41 3/4" without it.
$65 plus post without tip or trade for something of equal value.

Gday Titty,
I have either a:
Axivcore 79s, 41.25", 1.5" tip, or
Redboard 73s 44" with extender, .5" tip
Both real deal - I also have a Ping stepped shimming ferrule I'll throw in that will fit it nice and snug in the Rapture (these are 0.355 shafts).
Cheers,
Ben

Benno,
What colour is the Axivcore and is it "tipped 1.5", or is that just the tip prep length?
benno_r
5th May 2014, 01:19 PM
It's a Tour Red, and it is tip trimmed 1.5", which is the recommnded trimming for a 4W (was in a V-steel 4W).
Tip prep is a touch over 1".
Cheers,
Ben

Ta.
So the Redboard would need to be tipped a touch more (i presume its a driver shaft tipped?)

I was playing it in a 3W, and from memory, 0.5" is the std trimming recommendation for 3W.

Nearly all diamana shafts suggest .5" tipping for 3 wood, .75 " for 5 wood.
