Wolston Park GC (mike visit), Sunday January 27, 7:40a+

Guys, I've booked a group of four for the last group of the morning at 7:52a, but there is plenty of room on the timesheet for more groups. It will be after social groups, but rounds at Wolly Park should not ever be more than 4.5 hours.

The format is stableford and the cost should be less than $20, but I can confirm, if you want.

I played in a group that had 2 carts on Saturday. One guy offered me a ride, but I declined, which he was happy with, but I think the guy in the other cart was a bit dirty that I walked all day. He must have felt that I was being unsociable.

In WA Champs style, Wynnum GC have decided to host the Wynnum Cup at the same time as our round.

mike and I are both in the "don't care either way" camp, so if you guys have a preference for where you want to play, let me know.

There are a couple of areas that don't handle it too well, but the river hasn't gone over the top of it yet, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Can tell you it ain't nice down this way. Had its moments today but been blowing a gale most of it. Knocked a few trees down around here. Really hasn't been that much rain. Two really big down pours but otherwise just drizzle on and off. Course will be a bit sloppy though I would imagine.

Agreed. I was about to make the call after a big downpour here.

We are guaranteed to be playing in at least drizzle the whole round and the chances of not getting a big downpour during the round is very low.
