while the last one is winding up, figured we may as well start on getting ready for the 2013 MP rounds. The earlier the better.
Yoss did a good job, but its not fair to let the lad do all the hard work all the time.
So - who's in for it this year.
Rules:
1) Nominations must be in by Friday 15th Feb.
2) Draw will be available by 9am 16th Feb and will be conducted at random.
3) First Round matches must be completed by 31/03/2013.
4) Second round matches must be completed by 30/06/2013.
5) Semi Final Matches must be completed by 30/09/13
6) the MP Final must be completed by 31/12/13.
7) If a match has not been completed by the required date, DQ's will be enforced in the following manner:
- The No Show.
- The person who has made the least amount of public effort to participate in their own MP round, through organisation etc.
- The person that had progressed the furthest in the 2012 Matchplay Series.
- The person with the lower Handicap (should it get this far)
8 ) Rules of Golf must be adhered to.
9) To avoid any further Public Backlash, handicaps must be published a minimum of the day prior to the match taking place.
10) The amount of shots given/received in a match will be at the discretion of the players involved in the match. If there can be no agreement, full handicaps will be used.
11) any other rules that may need to be noted at a later date.
FWIW - Im not looking to play in this unless odd numbers are involved. If so, i'll step in to make a match happen.
