There's an interesting debate on BSG about Phil choosing not to play the season ending Tour championships.

What do you all think about that? Do you feel he has an obligation to his fans and sponsors to play the event which is only open to the top 30 players on the moneylist? It seems to me that there should be certain tournaments such as this one that they should play. I realise there is too much money to be made too easily for the top guys, but it lessens the tournaments if the best don't show up.

What's frustrating about it is that Geoff Ogilvy is ranked 31, but doesn't get a guernsey under the "no substitution rule".

What the hell mark them play with injury like a real hacker.

BV dumb question since there is only a field of 30 is there a cut or does everyone play 4 days.
