Kids are annoying me for one.

Anyone got one they want to move on? Prefer a later model, and in true OzGolf tradition I want to pay nothing for it. Missed the 320gb Slims DSE had for $228.

PM or put it in here.

rumors of PS4 in the pipelines after the PS2 production stopped (Sony's release cycle), so you might as well wait for it...

To be honest the Xbox gets more of a work out games wise than the ps3 here. Kinnect is heaps better than move and there is more games on Xbox. The ps3 is mainly used for blue rays in the kids room and when they bring out gran turismo games lol.

As you can tell from the posts here PeteyD, once you have a PS3 you will not give it up........

I have one BNIB but I want to keep it as a spare. That's how good they are :)

I've had 4, got two left. Not that bulletproof, stay clear of the older fat versions, I've had two fail with graphics chips due to the lead free solder they use. The older ones run pretty hot also.

New is the way to go, cheap enough now. The ABC iview and sbs on demand are pretty handy additions application wise too

Yep - not bulletproof at all. My slim failed - kept switching itself off; then I bought the new one. Luckily I pulled the old one apart and adjusted a pot in the power supply, stopped it switching off, so it's still going - but I fully expect it to die again, which is why I want the spare....

Mine gets used more for playing downloaded tv/movies and iView than it does for playing games, though I really must break out my racing seat and get back into GT5.

I have had mine for over 5 years and still going strong!

It gets used mainly for blurays, and occasionally a game of tiger woods PGA

Any advice on what games are good? Particularly for kids. Have GT5, MAdden 11 and little big planet.

Skylanders seems to be the big thing at the moment. My 9 yr old boy has about 14 of the suckers and loves it.

They have Skylanders on the Wii, and I am not getting a portal for the PS3!

I have read that the Uncharted series is pretty good, and LBP2.

Uncharted is awesome - I have a soft spot for the ratchet and clank series.
