So I was flipping thru golf digest on the iPad and I came across a vid of an instructor( Ledbetter I think) of how to make my left hand throw down on my iron shots. Well I hit about 40 balls and guess what it seems to work, not every time as sometimes it's like I'm an excavator digging a trench, but got 150+ with my 6i for the first time in a while. I think it's going to be a work in progress but 😁

What does 'throw down' mean? It's almost likely left hand is throwing a ball sort of a skim action, I've been having a lot of good iron shots with it of late. And it's not that much different to my swing feels quite smooth.

Does this not cause a fade as you are opening your left hand?

as I understand it, not if your sequencing is right. Actually keeps the club face square for longer through impact.

It doesn't seem to hocks, I just came back then and had some pretty good hits, now not every one is perfect but it's a lot better that 2 months ago. Practice practice practice is the key for me
