Got very over exited when i thought i was bidding on and won a Accra M5 ST75 - thinking it was a driver shaft.

Well its blatantly obvious its a fricken 3 wood shaft !!!!!! i don't use a 3 wood these days............

Would i bother even entertaining the thought of putting it into my G20 Driver, currently has a Pro launch red S, which is great just want something heavier and stiffer without feeling as boardy as the Pro launch. what would the effects be?

Or

Do the ozgolf thing and sell it in transit?

Some advice would be great.

M5 is X flex and it will be tipped 1/2 and inch.

How hard do you hit it ?

It should be a great match for a G20 though... very high launching head, the shaft should kill the spin rate.

Ave 115mph low 120's in full swing. the swing byte has me up to 140!!!!!!!

I thought it would be great for the G20 as well hence my excitement

So not a stupid idea ? with the prolauch around 3k spin.

r u sure its a 3 wood?

Ad says uncut, and those guys are generally pretty reputable.

FWIW - i say give it a crack. I';ve got the SE80 in M5 and its brilliant. - granted two very different shafts, but still...

a three wood shaft according to the Accra Web Site - or are you saying a shaft is a shaft as long as its properly tipped ?

Honestly...

You have a high launching head, high launching shaft with a stiffish mid section.

At your speed - you are not going to have any probs at all with this shaft as long as your hands are loading the club and your not just swinging out of your boots to get that kind of head speed.

Thanks Verge

It was a misread on my behalf, the one i looked up was a newer version low launch which is what i needed.

And no i pretty much put a normal easy swing to achieve that speed.

Give it a miss then?

Yeah - I woudl suggest a stock V2 shaft - or one of the new VTS shafts.

or maybe an DI shaft or whiteboard.
