I am going to be on the Sunny Coast on the weekend of Nov 11-12.  I'll be playing at Nambour on the Saturday in Monthly Honours before 7am (I am thinking about playing another round in the afternoon at Beerwah/Woodford, depending on availability and whether I come to my senses).
The cost for visitors is $19.50, I think.

Is there any interest in this for others?  If so, sign up.
(Alternatively, I may have the Nambour round in the arvo, and the other in the morning.  I will have to make some calls)

I am tempted to convince Terry to play our matchplay up there. I wonder what he thinks of that?

Couldn't book a full group early in the morning like I wanted to, so at this stage I have booked 2 spots in an already established group at 6:58am.

I have also booked a round for the afternoon at Cooroy: http://ozgolf.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3330

If there is more interest in this Nambour round, I will look at the options then (like swapping Cooroy to the morning, and Nambour to the afternoon).

Terry.

wider fairways than windaroo mate, and no houses to hit - just a cemetary.

A lot shorter and less water too.

I am still trying to imagine Terry hitting of some of those side hill lies. Not sure if his CG will be low enough.. 8)

Great day at Nambour today, weather was good (thanks to the breeze), course looked great after the recent rain, and we played with a really friendly couple.

Both us of were fairly satisfied with our rounds and scores, although they weren't anything special.

AndyP  81 nett 69
A-Lo   93 nett 70

As we were playing 36 holes in the day, I challenged A-Lo to 36 hole matchplay.
Fairly even thru the front nine, before Andy got to 3up with 3 to go in the first half.  Makes it hard to win holes against a guy with 11 shots on you, when you can't make pars, and he keeps making bogeys.
Got my short game going to par the last three and win them all, to leave Nambour all square.
