I can now officially say that this SNIPE stuff rocks!!
The auction I won, when I was at home away from a computer, last night went like this:
Firstly a its a five day auction that for 4 days has been sitting at $999.
Time to Go / Bid
4 days / $999
3 min 27 sec / $1034 =bidder 2 enters the ring
1 min 55 / $1084 =bidder 2 trying ot get over the line
1 min 38 / $1134 =bidder 2 outbids bidder 1's previous max bid
1 min 20 / $1184 =bidder 1 fights back (with a larger max bid)
15 seconds =$1384 bidder 2 places 6 individual bids to grab the lead once more and must think he has got it
12 seconds = $1500 bidder 1 grabs the glory or so he thought
4 seconds - $1511 MIRO comes from nowhere for the victory!!!!
Ah I can just imagine the adrenalin and disappointment of the other two bidders. Both sitting at their computer screens scratching their heads going how the hell did I lose that! 8) Meanwhile I was at the driving range relaxing.
