Figured this needed to be created!

Played today in a par comp in very windy conditions. Was 3 up with 3 to play and then the rain came down super heavy (damn the slow guys in front of us otherwise we wouldn't have got wet!) and I came home wipe wipe wipe to finish all square.. Disappointing as 3 up could have been a very winning score out there today!

80/77 in the shark challenge today at carbrook... 35 putts ( 4x3,1x4 & 2 putt from a foot)... Drove great, everything else was so so... Glimmers of great, followed by puss.

Played in my local Sporters comp on Wednesday which is an 11 hole comp, the H/Caps are worked out monthly. You loose 3 shots if you win & 2 if you are R/Up.

We have a Sporters C/ship at the end of the year, which started yesterday, because I don't play regulary on a Wednesday I am off 8.

Shot a 45/37, par for the course/holes we played was 42. Actually only hit 6 greens in regulation but my chipping was working great, which is a surprise.

Keep forgetting to post on this anyhoo, I had 29 points in a game on Thursday and for a change I didn't get the NAGA award, I was so happy.had a fair few yucky holes but some memorable ones too. Hope to get out on the weekend and play again 😄

35 points around royal Nudgee today. Left a few out there too. Handicrap back down to 14.1. Swing still a mess but coming together slowly. Brookwater should fix my new found confidence on sunday.

82/71 today in the monthly medal. Stats here (http://golfshot.com/Rounds/Detail/335-14322382-14322729).

I'm disappointed not to have scored better, given I was 4 up on my handicap with 4 to play, and bogeyed 3 out of the last 4 holes, but still, overall it was a decent day in pretty windy weather, putted pretty well but without luck, no 3 putts and only one double all day, the rest pars and bogeys. That puts me back to 10 which is my lowest handicap ever.

Oh and this might sound like sour grapes since I did have my name on it at one point, but apparently women golfers can win longest drive in the men's comp now. WTF?

74/72 today. Drove really well with my old faithful Cobra driver, irons were pretty good, left a few shots out around the greens.

Played crap in the medal today. 85/80. Missed way too many fairways, hit only 6 greens, and then had 34 putts. Conditions were tricky, but not terrible.

Had 39pts today around Mt Lawley (20/19)...1 birdie, 12 pars, 4 bogeys and a double (on a par 3!)

Was very happy with the way I played. My short game was SO much better today, and I putted pretty well too. This should drop the 'cap a little, but maybe not enough to lose a stroke. Certainly under 8 though. New lowest ever, whatever it will be.

19 + 19 = ???

Either way, excellent score Fit.

Yep...edited that. Sorry, my bad. Posted 19 for the 1st 9 holes (the back 9), then got distracted for a few minutes. Put in 19 for the front when it shoulda been 20!

Chopped it yesty in the monthly gong, 89/82. Drove reasonably well but everything else was poo. Might be time to try the backup cavity chopset.

I'm flushin' it at the moment.... New low Fit, now you're flushing them before you drop them on the floor.....or is that after you pick them up? Very strange fetish indeed.

I could explain 'flushing it' to you in golf terms, but I fear I might be wasting my time

New PB at Nudgee yesterday of 88 - 44 front, 44 back for 37 points. First time i've cracked 90. Would have been much lower if I could putt (had two eagle putts on back to back par 5's) but am happy I am getting myself into those positions. Putting lessons here I come!

When I started playing I aimed to have a hcap of 20. After 12 rounds I'm at 17.6 and my game is steadily improving. Now aiming for 10 by this time next year.

If you're worried about that you need to work on your swing speed!

Square yesterday in Par event +2/-2 (85 off the stick) missed about 4 putts on the lip...

If you're worried about that you need to work on your swing speed! On the hole in question the ladies tees are about 40 metres forward of the mens... Hence my question mark on how it is fair...Still a decent drive though (and my playing partners told me to stop bitching about it yesterday) so I've put it behind me :)

Dropped to a new low of 7.7. There are now 6 unflagged rounds to drop off in the next 6 games, so all I have to do is to beat a couple of the highest flag scores to drop more (12, 11, and 10)

I got excited and started expecting to shoot 70s again and again. If you go out, swing well and let it happen chances are it will. But once that numbers game takes hold it's bad news. It's great to hear that your in the form of your life and so you should be. Short game is not hard to fix when the other parts of the game are on song.

Are you sure it's not the men who can win the ladies long drive comp?
