I went out for 10 holes yesterday, gents, and although my play is a bit scratchy, I've been scoring well enough.

It was a great meetup with a bit of golf on the side. I didn't leave until nearly 4, as jarro and I kept chatting in the car park.

The golf was enjoyable. It was a bit of a different ambrose experience for me, as I'm used to being the first to hit in the group and playing safe, but this time I was last off a lot, particularly for approaches, which was a needed a different mindset. I think I did alright; we all did alright, without tearing it up, except the first few holes.

Enjoyed the day gents. It was nice to see Mike again, he hits a mean ball when he wants to ;)
We all played quite well and each contributed to the team effort.
Nudgee is in great nick at the moment, especially the greens.

Mike as the "worst" player in the group was very handy. We took 5 of his tee shots and may have been in trouble without some of them.

My grunt drive to get past Eag's on 5 was clearly shot of the day though. Who knew that I could hit a long ball? Playing last in an Ambrose was definitely a new and enjoyable experience for me after playing first nearly all of the time beforehand. I like that pressure though.
