Hi guys (and girls)

I bought a nice set of irons from a member of the board here and he invited me to join.

Going to take a browse around the board. After 24 years of golfing I hope I can offer a little assistance to some; and get a little advice from others maybe?

I play 4-5 times a week most weeks. Anyway...Hi.

Ted

Hey Ted
Top stuff. Good to see you on board. No doubt there will be a a few here that might play midweek... Including me.

How are the irons working out. The offer still stands to go see Tourfit about the shaft change. He still has them.

Hey Idgolfguy!

not sure if everyone here knows your name, so I'll leave it off here for now.

The Irons are great. I did try to call up TourFit today, but I got tied up with work and called a little late. I'll start the negotiations tomorrow.

I need to up the lay a bit, the Miz have a different set-up to the Nike it would seem. there is probably a good 10 inch difference in height between us and as such they do need a little work, but as irons go they have a lovely feel, and great work-ability. I took them to the range a few times since I got them and can tailor my swing to suit the clubs. And can get a tidy controlled draw and fade.

I couldn't be happier to get rid of the cavity backs I was using and step into a decent set again. I'll keep you posted, and update you once I have spoken to TourFit tomorrow!

Ted

:edit: I would like to switch the shafts over. I'll speak to them and see if they will suit my swing. Get fitted, if they suit I will take you up on the offer for sure.

Most know my name.
I think you we're being generous in the height difference.

Tourfit was playing Karrinyup today. Make sure you have some time up your sleeve when you see TF. He is a font of knowledge.

Maybe catch up for a round in a week or two with one or two of the other guys. Perhaps on a Friday afternoon.

Talk to me
He's about your height, and hands are about as far from the ground.

The S300 may not be a good match for him. He came over to buy the Pro100s but talked him into the into the MP37s I bought off PTP.

Better condition and probably closer to Nike blades he has at home.

Threw in my Mizuno wedges and an old golf bag. Gave him my old Nike SQ as well.

Tourfit has my PX6.5 which are also longer. He could swap those out and I'll keep the S300s instead.

That's an understatement  Any time I try and pop in quickly, it never ends up being quick!
