Has to be a stiff shaft, around 75g mid launch.

Would consider Yonex, PRGR, Ryoma, Yamaha,Akira. Anything really.

I would prefer a S flex, but could reshaft. How much do you want for it. Any pics of the shaft?

Sorry I have decided to keep it now. Yesterday I went to the range to try the Royal Collection driver and three wood, while the driver was great I could not get the three wood to fire as I wanted. Today I have just returned from a round and thought I would try the 3 wood again, I have just had the best round ever, and the 3 wood was perfect. My apologies for posting before I really had a chance to game this club, but I can highly recommend them to you if anyone else has one for sale.

BITS I was going to throw my Sonartec SS-03, which was originally modelled around the Royal Collection heads, into the mix for you. This used to be my go to club and I haven't been happy with the last few shafts I have had in it. I might experiment a little with the shaft, may tip the Proj X 6.5 I have and take that for a dance in the Sonartec.

FWIW if you can get hold of a Sonartec in decent condition and can find the right shaft, you will be hard pressed to find a more consistent and LONG fairway club.

Agree totally with Chappy. Royal Collection owned Sonartec and they were the Top Fairway woods in their time. They were in bags of at least 4 major winners!

I have never hit a FW as well as the Royal Collection 3 wood, very long and accurate too.

This one seems to be a fair price, stiff shaft too. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nice-Sonartec-GS-Tour-14-degree-3-Wood-Red-Ice-Stiff-Flex-/330814338295

that is a hell of a 3 wood.....
ithink its better than the recent stuff they have come out with...bit fuller and more comapct. not overly in love with this new trend of sleekenss and more overall body size... ive got the newst model i prefer the bbd typoe II.
ive the exact same with a diamana blue boards 73x... its so good.
mine are sitting idle with a 5 wood and a graphite design md7x.
they aint i nthe best condition paint wise but thees nothing wrong with them on the face.. just bag chattered

ill let them go...,
