I've been watching these on eaby (along wth the Honmas you had).

I'll set the lowball at $180 posted if you don't get any takers at the asking price. These are some of the best blades ever built.

C'mon we all know postage is not $30, if they were in melbourne i would pick them up, no stress.

I want them as i played a set as a kid, plenty of memories.

I still remember holing a 2 iron up the hill on the 7th hole at huntingdale for a 2, probably the best iron shot i have ever hit.

Anyway see what Crodo's mate comes up with

If you were that worried you simply could have offered the asking price and owned them well before anyone else got a look in. If i was desperate for something i'd sure be scrounging up that extra $20. Offering $10 for post (for a complete set of irons mind you) when he would have had to box them and muck around going to the P.O. was probably always doomed to fail.

Agreed.....

It usually costs me over $20 to send registered within nsw, so $30 was fair interstate

More than fair.

If you want something what's an extra 10 or 20 bucks?? If moneys that tight you probably shouldn't be hoing gear anyway.

These are great blades and looks like they are in great nick. You picked up a bargain there Matty.

I've seen these blades once played by a low marker. it's got a high COG and the ball came off the face like a bullet.

I'd be surprised to ever see the model in such top condition ever again. Sweet set.

Just came back in from hitting a bucket of balls comparing the 4,8,SW between the Cobra's and the Miura Tournament blades.
S300 shafts in the Cobras (stiff) and stiff hardstepped KBS Tours in the Miuras.
The Cobras felt bloody nice. Barely thicker top line but taller face on the Cobras. The Cobras have a beautiful feel off the face. My Miuras felt about the same but when hit off the middle the Miuras are perfect.
With same shafts you wouldn't complain about playing either.
Distance wise very similar, a few yards longer on the Miuras. Sent the odd ball with the Cobras drifting off to the right but all comes down to the shaft obviously.
Ball flight was higher with the Cobras, again due to shaft but in saying that I'm not sure of the lofts.
The 1 iron was fun to hit. Very low flight. Seemed to land not much further than the 3 or 4 but just keeps bounding.
Will hit them a bit more after my holiday and take them out for a social hit. Will be fun.
