Maylands peninsula has a social group that plays on sundays. Its certainly an upgrade on rose hill!

PGN green fees for Vines Sunday aren't that far off Maylands too; much better deal!

Easy course. Inflated handicaps but the guys are friendly.

At the time of the transition from Altone to Maylands, they were saying what a good course Altone was. Tough enough that if you could play there, you could play anywhere.

Nuffie hit a 69 off the stick (I think 39 points) and got beat by a 24 HC who scored 42 or 43 points.

Yeh it's not very forgiving, shot a 45 there on Sunday which I thought was ok considering I'm just getting back into it.

I'm hoping joining a club even on a social level and playing consistently will help me improve

Thanks for your help guys
