After buying new irons I've decided I also need new wedges but Im not sure on what lofts to get.
My pitching wedge is the callaway razr black, which is 44* with 7* bounce.
Im looking at getting the new callaway forged wedges, what lofts would you all recommend I get my new wedges in?

Depends on how many wedges you want to play? If I had a 44° pw, I'd probably play a 50-51 and 58. If you wanted to play 3, 50, 55 and 60.

You only need 2, one for pitching (52 or 53), then a 58.

It will depend on how far you want to hit them. For me the PW goes around 110-115m, so I wanted a wedge that was 100m range which is a 50*. Then I just spaced the gaps of 4* down, so the next 2 are 54* and 58*.

I know of my friends hits his 52* wedge 110m so he actually removed his PW. Personally I like carrying the extra wedges and dropping the 3 iron.

Either way good luck.

With a strong PW like that I'd personally go 50, 56, 60. My view is that a gap wedge is a full shot club and sand and lob wedges are feel clubs so I wouldn't worry about what distance I hit them so look for a wedge that you hit 10-12 metres less than your 44* and go with whatever feels best after that. I don't buy into the consistent loft or yardage gaps in wedges, go with what you can make work. Tiger plays a 49/56/60 combo so big gaps don't concern him much. I play 48/54/60 and I can't ever remember wishing that I carried 4 wedges but with such a strong PW it's probably going to be unavoidable.

44 on PW?? Thats my 9 iron mate. so you prolly looking for a 48 or 50 and one more 56 or 58 to get up and down?

Get whatever lofts fits the gaps and make sure they have plenty of bounce. Choppers like us cant play low bounce wedges properly.

Thanks for all the advice so quickly!
Will be heading down tomorrow to hit some wedges and work it out, but figured it would be good to have a clear idea of what I was looking for.
The 44* that came with the set is annoyingly strong and is the main reason I'm getting new wedges. I carry a 56 and a 60 at the moment and the gap up to the PW is massive. I could just get a 50 to fill the gap but then my wedges wouldn't match  at least thats how I've convinced Mrs Spuddage the purchase is nessessary!
Im thinking a 50, 54 and 58 should be the go, but we'll see how far I hit them first!
Now to decide between the dark chrome and copper finish.
