Long shot I know but if anyone has one of these lying around I would be interested, preferably head only but would consider the whole club. Would need to have it in my hands by Wednesday otherwise I will be forced to buy retail.

thanks.

If u can wait a couple of weeks, I might be me moving on the one I got off timah. I'm not convinced it will be a keeper for the bag.

Thanks TNO. Due to the fact I am an idiot I thought the RBZs took an R9/R11 tipped shaft, which obviously they don't.

I have an R9 4 wood I purchased off Yoss that has a VooDoo in it. Would you or anyone else happen to know whether that shaft would go into this head?

thanks.

And also whether that shaft would "work" in this head? I can get the shaft length if that helps.

My first guess is it will be a lil short. Pretty certain 42" plays to 43" in my RBZ non tour.

As for a particular shaft "working" in a particular head - run a long way from anyone talking along these lines. It's all totally up to the individual. Joe Bloggs might need a high spin 55 grams to get his fast 12 LS working, but Neville Nobody needed a Fuji TS 7.2 as he still needed to lower spin.

Regarding fairway woods tho a reasonable rule of thumb (for many) is that you need a bit higher spin and launch shafts than you hit in driver. This of course allows you to elevate off the deck. Round about mid spin mid launch works for a lot of peeps. I personally found the Voodoo a very good FW shaft.

Thanks. I checked the R9, it is playing to 42" so like you say will be a bit short.

I might go and hit it tomorrow somewhere and see how it goes. I am really happy with the R9 4 wood but I was hoping I could get the same accuracy from an RBZ 3 wood and add an extra 15-20m. I could then almost forget about the driver altogether because it gets me into more trouble than it is worth.

Right. Went to House of Golf and have ended up with an Exotics CB4.
Compared to my R9 4 wood I was getting an extra 15M of carry (about 210m) and tonnes of roll (out to around 240-250m). Probably not quite as straight as the R9 but not bad.

Should be enough to leave the driver in the bag more often!

TNO, If Hacker has sorted himself out, can I take the RBZ 3W head for $130 posted to 2148?

I nearly fell over when I saw the sticker price, $360 or something but he came back with $199, apparently the new one is about to arrive. About the same as the RBZ but I just felt a bit more comfortable with this one.

My first Australian retail new club purchase! I feel a little dirty.
